MGC Sports
A sports agency built from the brains behind a law firm. Seeking a distinct identity and more meaningful connections to clients.
The Ask: A Rebrand Refresh. My team and I spent weeks brainstorming various logos, taglines, and names. We presented the client with these three options.
The final logo chosen. Previously, MGC stood for the three last names of the partners of MGC Sports' parent law firm. To more authentically connect MGC to its athlete clientele, we reframed the name of the agency to instead stand for "Make the Game Central."
Once the logo was chosen, we used artificial intelligence to generate images depicting real-life applications of this brand identity. We wanted the clients to be able to picture what this identity meant both internally and externally.
I took charge in creating a mockup of a social media refresh, including the new and improved branding and suggestions on how to garner more reach and higher engagements.
Our final deliverable for MGC sports was a living, breathing, dynamic and eye-catching website.
We focused on establishing the new brand identity and linking it to the success the company has already achieved.
We built a roster page, which their previous website lacked, as we understood from our research stage that prospective clients pay attention to an agency's current clientele, and this plays a large role in their decision on who to commit to.
In addition to the current athlete's recognizability being important for reaching clients, showing off the success of the clients connects MGC Sports and the agency's support directly to the wins of their clients.
